Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Team Leader. This is a full-time leadership prospect for someone who is passionate about deliveringexceptional patient care while mentoring and developing a high-performing nursing team.

Working within a growing telehealth and medicinal cannabis environment, you'll combine hands-on clinical practice with leadership, coaching and operational coordination. You will provide clinical leadership, oversee day-to-day nursing operations, support continuous improvement initiatives andensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.

Key responsibilities

n

- Lead and support the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care.
n
- Coordinate rostering, shift coverage and workload allocation.
n
- Act as the primary contact for nurses requiring clinical or operational guidance.
n
- Monitor compliance with AHPRA standards, privacy requirements, company policies and telehealth guidelines.
n
- Support the onboarding, induction and ongoing training of nurses.
n
- Manage patient, clinical and workflow escalations in collaboration with senior clinical leaders.
n
- Review nursing documentation and workflows to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
n
- Contribute to the development and review of nursing protocols, procedures and processes.
n
- Oversee patient communications and follow-ups to ensure they are timely, explicit and professional.
n




- Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to support service delivery and broader business objectives.
n
- Remain informed about regulatory changes, industry best practice and developments in telehealth nursing.
n
- Undertake other reasonable duties that support the efficient operation of the service.

About you

n

To succeed in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Minimum five years' post-registration experience.
n
- Previous experience leading, mentoring or supervising nursing staff.
n
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
n
- Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
n
- High level of computer literacy and experience using electronic medical records.
n
- Experience in telehealth, virtual care or digital health services.
n
- Knowledge of, or experience in, medicinal cannabis prescribing pathways, patient care and regulatory requirements.
n
- Experience working in specialty healthcare or chronic disease management.
n
- Experience with clinical governance, accreditation and quality improvement.
n
