About the role:

Working alongside our multidisciplinary care team, you'll designand deliver meaningful activities that promote independence,wellbeing and social connection while creating a vibrant communitywhere every resident feels valued and included.

Your day-to-day will involve:

- Plan, implement and evaluate engaging Diversional Therapyprograms that promote emotional, social, and physical wellbeingfor aged care residents.
- Develop individualised activity plans tailored to eachresident’s cognitive and physical abilities, encouragingparticipation and purpose.
- Coordinate and promote lifestyle events and recreationalactivities, including outings and on-site entertainment, inalignment with resident interests and preferences.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with agedcare standards, including reporting, assessments, and residentrecords.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, volunteers,families,



and community groups to enhance the lifestyleexperience for residents in a warm and inclusiveenvironment.

About you:

You're someone who genuinelyenjoys connecting with people and has a natural ability to brightensomeone's day. Compassionate, creative and enthusiastic, you thriveon building relationships and creating engaging experiences thathelp older people feel valued, included and connected. You bring apositive attitude, work collaboratively with others and take pridein making a meaningful contribution to the lives of residents andtheir families.

In addition, you have;

- Certificate 4 in Diversional Therapy or anotherqualification recognised by Diversional & Recreational TherapyAustralia
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role in an Aged Careenvironment
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Standards relevantto Diversional therapy activities and within an Aged Caresetting
- Training and/or demonstrated experience in Dementiacare
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance orwillingness to obtain
