Hospitality Management CH on Peel Pty Ltd is looking for another full-time member for its management team. Situated in the heart of Tamworth, our operations include the 62 room CH Boutique Hotel, the heritage listed DECO Wine Bar & Restaurant, Hopscotch Restaurant, the Pavilion Function & Conference Centre, Pig & Tinder Box Restaurant & Bar, The Bureau, and the Dungowan Brewery. All our restaurants are full service dine in establishments.

The Position You will have an chance to further develop your hospitality skills and experience work in a variety of areas across our food service sites. The position includes managerial level food and beverage duties and bar work.

n

This position is suited for candidates that like to work in a fast-paced supportive team environment, with high quality table service experience preferred. The successful applicant must be available across a 7 day roster including nights and weekends. As a member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall running of the business from top to bottom, leading by example and maintaining high standards.

n

You must be highly motivated and able to manage all operational elements of the business from front to back of house. You will be passionate about your job, have a superior knowledge of food and beverage, understand the order of service and ensure our clients leave having had an all-round unforgettable dining experience.

Key Duties

- Delivering exceptional Customer Service

- Maintaining the service area
n
- Knowledge of Food Safety requirements
n
- Understanding of liquor licensing laws and compliance
n
- Proven record managing restaurants and meeting KPI targets
n
- Proven financial management capabilities
n
- Arranging bespoke events
n
- Experience in training staff with cultural sensitivity
n
- Working with our chefs to update and improve menus
n
- Overseeing of rostering
n
- Selecting and training restaurant and service staff
n
- Stock level management
n
- Cash handling and register operation
n

The Person

n

n
- RSA Certificate Essential
n
- Diploma in Hospitality Operations or Similar desirable
n
- Previous Bar experience
n
- Be able to work independently
n
- Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
n
- Great presentation and customer service skills
n
- Willingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team
n
- Willingness to jump into any task required, cleaning, food preparation and customer service
n
- Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
n
- Must always be well presented, have a great work ethic and the ability to perform well under pressure
n
- A Positive can-do attitude and the ability to work nights & weekends
n

Salary package: $63,000 - $73,000 per annum plus Super depending on skills and experience
