About the role

In this role, you will provide strategic and practical tax advice to clients across a range of industries and jurisdictions, playing a key part in delivering high-quality legal solutions. You will work closely with clients, senior legal professionals, and cross-functional teams to address complex tax matters and ensure compliance with evolving tax legislation.

This is a boutique team focused in Corporate, Commercial and Tax. With a genuine team focus, evidence by a team based budget over traditional individual billings, this is a place that prioritises the delivery of quality client service.

What you'll be doing

n

Providing comprehensive tax advice to private clients across:

n

- CGT
n
- Tax restructures and rollovers
n
- Small business concessions
n
- State based tax work
n

n

About your experience

n

n




- A degree in law with admission to legal practice
n
- As this is an exciting growth role, this firm is looking to meet with Tax Lawyers at any level – whether you have pre admission experience in private client tax law or post admission experience in Tax Law, your application is welcomed
n
- Recent experience in Australian tax lawExcellent legal research and writing skills, with the ability to produce explicit and persuasive tax advice
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with complex tax issues
n
- The ability to work autonomously whilst contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment
n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients
n
- Proficiency with legal research tools and software systems
