Casual Dental Assistant / Dental Receptionist Roles

Smile Craft Dental Tuncurry are looking for two friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic people to join our busy dental practice in a casual role as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist.

n

These positions are varied, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is happy to switch between clinical assisting and front desk duties.

n

Availability on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is essential.

n

About the Role

n

Your duties will include:

n

n
- Assisting the dentist during patient treatment.
n
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments.
n
- Maintaining infection control standards.
n
- Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service.
n
- Answering phones and managing appointment bookings.
n
- Processing payments and health fund claims.
n
- Maintaining patient records and general administrative tasks.
n




- Supporting the team wherever needed to ensure the practice runs smoothly.
n

About You

n

You'll be someone who:

n

- Has a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
n
- Is organised, reliable, and able to multitask.
n
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
n
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
- Is confident using computers and learning new software.
n
- Has previous dental assisting and/or dental reception experience (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
