The Role

We are seeking a capable and highly organised Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join our Finance team.

n

This is a hands-on, AP-focused position working across multiple hospitality entities with a high volume of invoices. You will manage several shared inboxes, liaise frequently with suppliers, chase documentation, resolve discrepancies, and provide clear communication about payment timeframes.

n

In addition to accounts payable, you will process weekly payroll through FoundU and support broader finance activities as required.

n

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys accurate, process-driven work and is genuinely comfortable operating in a hands-on finance environment. Please note, this role is an in-office Brisbane role.

Key Responsibilities

n

Accounts Payable (core focus)

n

n
- Manage the full end-to-end AP cycle across multiple entities
n
- Action and prioritise high-volume AP inboxes
n
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through timely communication
n
- Chase receipts, resolve invoice discrepancies,



and clarify payment details
n
- Process invoices efficiently through Lightyear and Xero
n

n

Payroll & General Finance

n

n
- Process weekly payroll in FoundU
n
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and journals
n
- Maintain accurate Fixed Asset Registers
n
- Support BAS/IAS preparation and other statutory requirements
n
- Provide weekly labour and performance data to operational leaders
n
- Assist with ad hoc reporting relevant to hospitality (stock, food, beverage, venue data)

About You

n

n
- Strong experience in Accounts Payable within a high-volume environment
n
- Confidence communicating clearly with suppliers by phone and email
n
- Excellent organisation and inbox management skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
n
- Familiarity with Xero (essential), Lightyear (preferred), or FoundU (preferred)
n
- Hospitality or multi-entity experience (advantageous)
n
- A practical, consistent, process-driven approach to finance work
n
