Job Description

We're partnering with a leading Defence organisation embarking on a significant payroll transformation and are seeking an experienced Payroll Transformation Lead to drive the payroll workstream.

This is a 6-month contract supporting the implementation of a current ADP payroll platform. You'll act as the Payroll Subject Matter Expert, working closely with local stakeholders, project teams and the overseas parent company to ensure a seamless transition.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead the payroll workstream throughout the transformation.
n
- Act as the Payroll SME, supporting discovery and business requirements.
n
- Partner with BAU teams to validate payroll processes and data.
n
- Support payroll data migration and ADP implementation activities.
n
- Ensure payroll compliance,



governance and best practice.
n
- Collaborate with project teams, vendors and global stakeholders to deliver a successful implementation.
n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience delivering payroll transformation or system implementation projects.
n
- Strong payroll operations and compliance knowledge.
n
- ADP implementation experience is highly desirable.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement.
n

This is a transformation-focused role, not a BAU Payroll Manager position.

n

We're looking for someone who has successfully delivered payroll change initiatives and can provide strategic leadership throughout the implementation.
