The role:

n

To manage a portfolio of disputed recoveries files within Recovery & Settlements Department, whilst achieving cost effective and quality claims handling through robust relationships with internal and external service providers.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Investigating and resolving disputes across both the insured and uninsured disputed claims.
n
- Providing recommendations on how individual claims should be resolved
n
- Dealing with inbound queries from third parties and clients on relevant claims
n
- The ability to explain to third parties why we are holding them liable help them understand the reasons behind our decision
n
- Providing a point of reference to other consultants on related matters
n

What are we looking for?

n

n
- Well grounded negotiation and communication skills
n
- Strong understanding of australian road rules including motor vehicle liability
n
- Able to deal effectively and confidently with conflict
n
- Effective time management capabilities
n
- A robust knowledge of how our end to end recovery process works
n
- Excellent phone manner and customer service skills.
n
- Self motivated and able to work unsupervised
n
- Previous debt collection, paralegal or insurance claims experience will be highly regarded
