The company

n

Join an established underground mining operation located in Central Victoria, approximately 45 minutes from Bendigo.

n

The site offers a close-knit working environment and continues to invest in its operations and future growth.

n

You will join an established supply team consisting of three other Warehouse Officers, an Inventory Controller and a Purchasing Officer.

n

The role

n

Primarily based at one of the operation's sites, you will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse and complete deliveries to a second site located approximately 2km away.

n

Your duties will include:

n

n
- Loading and unloading stock and inventory
n
- Completing deliveries between the two sites
n
- Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods
n
- Picking, packing and distributing stock
n
- Ordering stock and assisting with inventory requirements
n
- Updating inventory and warehouse management systems
n
- Supporting stocktakes and general stock control
n
- Maintaining a clean, secure and organised warehouse
n
- Working closely with the inventory, purchasing and wider site teams
n

n

The site uses Pronto; however, experience using Sage, Max or a similar inventory management system will also be highly regarded.

n

The hours and contract

This is initially a 6-7-month casual contract.

- 7.00am-3.00pm

- Day shift only
n
- Up to $40.25ph casual rate + super
n

n

There may be potential for the assignment to extend if everything is going well and an ongoing position becomes available; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

n

Your skills and experience

n

You'll come to the role with previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience and a reliable, hands-on approach.

n

You'll also have:

n

n
- Current forklift licence (essential)
n
- Current MR driver's licence (essential)
n
- Experience with goods receiving, stock handling and deliveries
n
- Good computer literacy and confidence using inventory systems
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Ability to work both independently and within a close-knit team
n
- A strong attitude towards safety
n
- Reliable transport and the ability to commute to site
n
- Previous experience using Pronto, Sage or Max would be highly regarded
n
- Experience within mining, heavy industry, mechanical parts or an industrial warehouse would also be beneficial.
n

You'll join an established warehouse team in a wide-ranging role covering stores, inventory, ordering and deliveries between two nearby sites.

n
