Moondarra Cheese is a proud Australian cheese manufacturer, supplying major supermarket retailers and export markets from our Dandenong South facility. We have grown significantly in recent years with the acquisition of Tarago Cheese, celebrated for its award-winning blue cheeses, expanding our footprint across the domestic market.

About the Role

n

We're seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our Dandenong South team. Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you'll purchase the raw materials, packaging and goods needed to support production and supply, and complete assembly builds in our ERP system, converting components into finished multi-component and value-added cheese products.

What You'll Do

n

Raise, place and manage purchase orders for raw materials, ingredients, packaging and other goods

n

Source and liaise with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality and reliable supply

n

Complete assembly builds in the ERP system using bills of materials

n





Maintain accurate bills of materials and inventory records

n

Track and report on production wastage and variances to support cost control

n

Monitor supplier performance and resolve discrepancies or shortages

n

Work with the Inventory Manager on reorder points, forecasts and procurement planning

n

Ensure purchased materials meet food safety, quality and traceability requirements

n

What We're Looking For

n

Experience in procurement, purchasing or buying, ideally within FMCG, food or manufacturing

n

Solid negotiation and supplier-management skills

n

Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills with high attention to detail

n

Ability to manage multiple purchase orders and priorities under production deadlines

n

Qualification in procurement, supply chain or business

n

Understanding of food safety and traceability requirements.
