GP Practice Registered Nurse - Full-Time / Part time / Casual

The Illawarra / South Coast is within close proximity to Sydney with an expanding population base. Shellharbour is a vibrant, growing, picturesque beachside area of the South Coast of NSW.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse / Practice Nurse to join our medical practice to be a key team member working collaboratively with an experience team of Admin and General Practitioner, providing high quality and comprehensive care for all patients

Role

n

The role includes, but is not limited to the following:

n

n
- Triaging patients and prioritization of emergency situations
n
- Assisting doctors with minor procedures
n
- Performing health assessments
n
- Administering vaccines
n
- Post vaccination observations and monitoring
n
- Coordination, management, and maintenance of patient clinical data
n
- Wound dressings and removal of sutures
n




- Health education and coaching to support patients with achievement of their goals
n
- A willingness to expand skills and enhance expertise in a professional environment.

Successful Candidate

n

It is essential that applicants meet the following criteria:

n

n
- AHPRA registered Enrolled or Registered Nurse
n
- Proven prior experience in General Practice or an acute setting
n
- Knowledge of Health Assessment is highly regarded
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills
n
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
n
- Patient focus and empathy
n
- High standard of team work skills
n
- Ability to prioritise and organise with attention to detail
n
- No Visa Sponsor
