Due to continued organisational growth, we are seeking dedicated and experienced Disability and Mental Health Support Workers to join our expanding team. This role offers approximately 25+ hours per week, with the potential to transition to full-time employment.

The Role

n

As a Support Worker with Mindset Intervention, you will provide individualised, community-based and in-home support aligned with each participant's NDIS goals. Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Assisting with personal care and hygiene
n
- Domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry, etc.)
n
- Everyday tasks such as budgeting, shopping, and meal preparation
n
- Supporting participants to attend appointments and community activities
n
- Implementing behaviour support plans and working toward participant goals




n
- Transporting participants safely to and from activities
n
- Completing session reports and maintaining accurate documentation
n
- Collaborating with team members to ensure continuity of care
n
- Adhering to organisational policies and procedures
n
- Participating in sleepover shifts as required
n

Requirements

n

n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to obtain)
n
- COVID-19 Infection Control Training (or willingness to obtain)
n
- COVID-19 Aged Care PPE Module 5 (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Paid Blue Card (if required)
n
- Current Australian Driver Licence
n
- Reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle
n
- Certificate III in Disability or Mental Health (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Smartphone with data access
n
- Flexible availability (including weekends and evenings)
n
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, qualified manner
n
