Key Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

n

- Service and maintenance on all heavy vehicle fleet.
n
- Daignose faults in heavy vehicle, dismantling and removing faulty parts, replacing and repairing defective parts.
n
- Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance services to all fleets.
n
- Repairing and replacing transmissions, steering, braking systems and other vehicle parts.
n
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, drivers and management.
n
- Document all repairs.
n
- Perform repairs to manufacturers specifications.
n
- Carry out repairs in accordance with job sheet.
n
- Perform final checks on vehicles.
n
- Follow occupational health & safety requirements.
n

Qualification and Experience

- Hold trade certificate or qualification in automotive mechanical trade with at least 2 years experience in the mechanical industry.
