An industry-leading agricultural organisation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team based in Swan Hill. This role provides day-to-day leadership to the maintenance team, assists with planning and scheduling maintenance activities, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability, minimise downtime and maintain operational performance.

The Role

n

Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, the responsibilities of the role includes:

n

- Support the Maintenance Manager with the daily coordination of maintenance operations and assume leadership responsibilities when required.

- Provide leadership, coaching and technical guidance to maintenance employees and contractors to develop a skilled, engaged and high-performing team.
n
- Coordinate and carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across plant, machinery, vehicles, irrigation systems, facilities and infrastructure.
n
- Monitor equipment performance, identify maintenance issues and implement effective solutions to improve reliability,



reduce downtime and extend asset life.

- Ensure machinery operators complete pre-start inspections, promptly report faults and follow established maintenance procedures.
n
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, service schedules, spare parts inventory and workshop equipment, including regular stocktakes.
n
- Support harvest operations by ensuring all equipment is serviced, maintained and available to meet operational requirements.

Your Background

n

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Relevant trade qualification with proven experience performing preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery, plant, vehicles and equipment, preferably within agriculture, manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.
n
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise work and respond effectively under pressure.
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence essential.
n
- Forklift Licence, Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications are desirable.
n
