About the Role

We are seeking a focused and reliable Dockmaster / Traffic Controller to join our team at our high-volume site in Dandenong. This is a critical role responsible for managing the safe, efficient, and orderly flow of heavy vehicles, deliveries, and pedestrians across a bustling, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Traffic & Dock Management: Coordinate and direct incoming/outgoing heavy vehicles, couriers, and site visitors safely.
n
- Clear Communication: Provide precise, polite, and authoritative verbal directions to drivers and site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
n
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a strict focus on workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols, ensuring pedestrian zones and loading docks remain clear and secure.
n
- Incident Resolution:



Respond calmly and effectively to operational bottlenecks, delays, or changing site priorities.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience in traffic control, dock management, or a fast-paced logistics environment.
n
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to give clear, concise directions.
n
- Cultural Competence: Comfort and capability working within a vibrant, multicultural team environment.
n
- Composure: A proven ability to remain calm, level-headed, and professional under pressure.
n
- Licences: Valid Traffic Control ticket/White Card and Forklift LF licence).
