An opportunity has presented itself for a Principal Reliability Engineer – Rolling Stock to join our team. Sydney or Newcastle is preferred. However, candidates based in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane or regional NSW will also be considered.

What You'll Do

n

Improve fleet reliability and availability while reducing maintenance costs through reliability-centred maintenance and condition monitoring.

n

n
- Lead FMECA, reliability-centred maintenance and condition monitoring activities.
n
- Analyse incidents and reliability data to identify trends and critical failure modes.
n
- Support maintenance teams with investigations and recommend improvements to maintenance tactics.
n
- Monitor condition monitoring systems and equipment performance.
n
- Develop reliability improvement programs with engineering and operational teams.
n




- Provide technical recommendations for engineering designs, projects and process improvements.
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- A relevant tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, condition monitoring or a related discipline.
n
- At least four years' experience in maintenance and reliability engineering or equipment condition monitoring.
n
- Practical experience applying FMECA, reliability-centred maintenance and condition monitoring techniques.
n
- Experience in rail, mining, transport, oil and gas, heavy industry or another asset-intensive sector.
n
- Strong data analysis, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
