Work full‐time, Monday to Friday, while learning on the job in a values-driven workplace that encourages professional growth and development.

Please note: This is an entry‐level traineeship position. Applicants who already hold a Diploma or higher qualification in Information Technology (or a related field) may not be eligible under traineeship requirements.

About the Role
n
We're looking for a motivated, customer‐focused, and enthusiastic trainee to join the ICT Team as a Junior ICT Customer Service & Support Officer.
n
This is a full‐time traineeship that includes dedicated study time during work hours to complete your Certificate in Information Technology.
n
As the first point of contact for ICT support, you'll provide outstanding customer service to staff, students and parents while developing practical technical skills across a wide range of technologies. You'll work closely with an experienced ICT team to ensure users receive timely and effective support.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Provide first‐level technical support to staff, students and parents in person, remotely, via phone, email and service desk tickets.
n
- Diagnose,
troubleshoot and resolve ICT issues, escalating where required and following through to resolution.
n
- Set up, configure and deploy new computers, laptops and other end‐user devices.
n
- Record and maintain accurate information relating to help desk requests and ICT assets.
n
- Coordinate the repair process for damaged or faulty devices.
n
- Assist with supporting client‐facing applications and information systems.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve ICT service delivery and customer support processes.
n
- Provide general administrative support, including assisting with quotations, purchases and deliveries.
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys solving problems and is passionate about technology.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
- Strong customer service and organisational skills.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- A genuine interest in Information Technology through study, personal projects, gaming hardware, troubleshooting or device building.
n
- Good time management skills and the ability to take initiative.
n
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace applications.
n
- Knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
n
- Familiarity with iOS and Android mobile devices.
n
- Solid problem‐solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
n
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams.
n
- Empathy, patience and professionalism when assisting users with varying levels of technical confidence.
n
- A genuine commitment to completing the traineeship and building a long‐term career in ICT.
n

Highly Regarded
n
Experience or knowledge in any of the following will be advantageous:
n
n
- Wireless networking fundamentals.
n
- Printer troubleshooting and support.
n
- JAMF Pro or other Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
n
- Microsoft 365 administration.
n
n

- Hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
n
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident
