The Opportunity

n

This is a genuine frontline leadership opportunity focused on developing people, solving problems on the line, improving performance (OEE) and building capability across the production floor.

n

As an Area Lead, you'll lead a team of approximately 10-15 production employees within one of our manufacturing areas, helping to deliver safe, high-quality products while building engagement, capability and performance across the team.

n

Reporting to a Night Shift Manager, you'll spend time on the floor coaching operators, identifying opportunities for improvement,



partnering with key stakeholders and helping solve problems proactively across operations, safety, quality and maintenance.

n

You'll work a permanent night shift roster (6:00pm-6:00am) with a structured roster that provides regular days off and fewer weekend commitments than many traditional manufacturing operations.

In this role, you'll:

n

- Lead, coach and develop a high performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace
n
- Drive a strong culture of safety, quality and accountability
n
- Conduct regular line walks and proactively identify opportunities for improvement on line performance (OEE)
n
- Partner with Maintenance, Engineering and Quality teams to solve recurring issues and drive root cause solutions
n
- Support production performance through problem solving, operational leadership and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Build capability through training, coaching and regular 1:1 feedback
n
- Contribute to production planning and operational decision-making
n
- Create a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture
n

Your Experience

n

We're open to leaders from a range of high-speed manufacturing environments. Dairy experience is highly regarded, but not essential.

n

What matters most is your ability to lead people, solve problems and drive results.

n

You'll bring:

n

n
- At least 3 years' leadership or supervisory experience
n
- Experience within FMCG, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, bakery or other high-volume manufacturing environments
n
- Demonstrated success leading teams and building capability
n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
- Experience working with operational metrics such as OEE, attainment and continuous improvement
n
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to investigate issues, identify solutions and make recommendations
n
- Most importantly, you're a people-first leader who can balance accountability with care, build credibility with teams and create an environment where people can do their best work.
