We are seeking a skilled and licensed Electrician to join our dynamic construction team on high-profile projects across Australia. As a key member of the site operations, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000) and safety regulations. Responsibilities
n
n
- Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, conduits, switches, outlets, and lighting systems in accordance with design specifications and safety standards.
n
- Interpret and analyze electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements.
n
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
n
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and conduct repairs efficiently to minimize downtime and project delays.
n
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
n
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including as-built drawings, test results, and safety checklists.
n
- Adhere strictly to WHS (Work Health and Safety) protocols, conduct site risk assessments, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
n
- Participate in site safety meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in safety and quality.

Requirements
n
n
- Valid and current Australian electrical license (Class C or equivalent) with relevant state registration.
n
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and/or residential construction environments.
n
- Proven track record of working on projects involving low-voltage systems, switchboards, earthing, and lighting installations.
n
- In-depth knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), AS/NZS 3012, and other relevant Australian electrical standards.
n
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, cable pullers,multimeters, and testing equipment.
n
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in multidisciplinary construction teams.
n
- Willingness to work in office across various locations, including remote or challenging environments.
n
- Current white card and relevant safety certifications (e.g., Working at Heights, Forklift License – preferred).
n
n
Work Experience: 4–5 years in construction electrical installations
