New Piece is a design‐led furniture and homeware brand based in Sydney, curating contemporary pieces from emerging designers across the Asia‐Pacific region.

Our Alexandria showroom is a space where design, lifestyle and community meet. We are currently looking for a Sales & Client Relationship team member who enjoys working with people, appreciates design, and has a strong sense of organisation to support both showroom sales and day‐to‐day operations.

Key Responsibilities

n

Showroom Sales & Customer Experience

n

n
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom
n
- Provide product knowledge and styling suggestions
n
- Prepare quotations and assist with order placements
n
- Follow up on customer enquiries and potential sales
n

n

Client Relationship (Retail & Trade)

n

n
- Maintain relationships with interior designers, architects, and trade clients
n
- Respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner
n
- Assist with arranging showroom visits and product presentations
n

n

Order & System Coordination

n

n
- Organise and maintain order records within internal systemsEnsure orders correspond clearly with incoming shipments
n
- Assist with tracking deliveries and coordinating order updates
n

n

Showroom & Daily Operations

n

n
- Maintain the presentation and organisation of the showroom
n




- Assist with visual merchandising and showroom styling
n
- Support the smooth day‐to‐day running of the space
n

n

Admin & Marketing Support

n

n
- Assist with general administrative tasks
n
- Support marketing activities such as content preparation, product updates, or campaigns
n
- Help coordinate showroom events and brand activities when needed
n

n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, confident and enjoys interacting with clients
n
- Organised and detail‐oriented
n
- Interested in furniture, design, architecture or interiors
n
- Comfortable working across sales, client service and operational tasks
n
- Able to multitask in a fast‐paced workplace
n

n

Previous experience in retail, showroom sales, customer service, or design‐related fields is highly valued.
