CNC Tube Laser Cutter Operator $36 - $40 per hour (pending experience)

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC tube laser cutting machines, producing high-precision tube and profile parts across a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper. This is a great opportunity to work with modern, high-speed laser cutting technology in a well-established and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, program and operate CNC tube laser cutting machines
- Load and unload tube and profile material safely and efficiently
- Monitor cutting quality and machine performance, adjusting settings as required
- Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting
- Safely operate a forklift for the loading, unloading and movement of materials
- Assist with overhead crane operation where required
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Adhere to WHS, quality and company compliance standards at all times





Skills & Experience

- Previous experience operating CNC tube laser cutting equipment essential
- LF Forklift Licence required
- Crane licence highly regarded
- Robust mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well within a team
- Sound communication skills and a professional approach
