Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cold Larder team member to join our kitchen team at PLC Boarding in Peppermint Grove. You'll prepare fresh meals and support a positive dining experience for up to 140 boarding students while being part of a welcoming school community.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare cold larder items and assist with food preparation and service
n
- Deliver friendly, efficient service to students and staff
n
- Maintain stock levels and support daily kitchen operations, including dishwashing
n
- Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, organised, and well presented




n
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards while performing efficiently during busy service periods
n

About You

n

Desired Skills and Experience

n

- Previous experience in a kitchen, hospitality, or food service environment
n
- Experience preparing and serving cold larder items (desirable)
n
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
n
- Positive team player with solid communication skills and a proactive approach
n
- Maintains excellent personal presentation, hygiene standards, and a customer-focused attitude
n

Successful applicants will be required to obtain a Working With Children Check and complete a National Criminal History Check as part of the recruitment process.
