Our Water Business Group is expanding, and we're seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our Water Utilities team in Brisbane. Whether you're stepping into a senior role or looking for your next technical challenge, WSP offers the support, flexibility, and career pathways to help you thrive.

What You'll Do
n
n
- You'll play a key role in delivering technically robust and constructible designs across a range of water infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:
n
- Delivering high‐quality 2D and 3D civil designs in line with technical, commercial, and client standards
n
- Coordinating design and documentation with engineers, designers, and drafting teams to ensure seamless project delivery
n
- Supporting projects from feasibility and concept design through to detailed CAD delivery
n
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, representing WSP professionally at all times
n
- Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of CAD standards, workflows, and best practice
n
- Working across multiple sectors including water utilities, infrastructure, and industrial projects
n
n
About You
n
You're a technically strong designer who enjoys problem‐solving, collaboration, and seeing your designs come to life. You'll bring:
n
n
- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
n
- 6+ years' experience in civil design and drafting, ideally within water infrastructure or utilities
n
- Strong capability in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (essential)
n
- Experience in water, mining, or industrial infrastructure projects (highly regarded)
n
- Exposure to point cloud survey data and EDMS systems (advantageous)
n
n
