You will be hardworking and enthusiastic, looking after the design elements of key projects.

n

Your key responsibilities will include:

n

Take the lead on design coordination for Key project (Design almost complete)

n

Manage the Green Star process, including consultant inputs, evidence, submissions and close out.

n

Coordinate the architect, engineers and other consultants

n

Chair meetings and follow up actions

n

Manage the design programme and make sure documentation is issued on time.

n

Review consultant drawings for coordination, buildability and compliance

n

Identify design risks and resolve issues before they affect construction

n

Coordinate responses to RFIs and technical queries from the site team.

n

Liaise with the client, consultants, RBS and relevant authorities

n

Manage authority applications and approvals, including NBN, power and water

n





Support value management and practical design solutions.

n

Assist with commissioning, handover, defects and Green Star certification

n

Take on design coordination and management of other D&C; projects as they come online

n

Help improve Jointly's design management systems and processes across the business.

n

Previous Experience

n

Project Architect or Design Manager experience

n

Experience delivering D&C; projects through design, construction and handover

n

Green Star / BESS experience, preferably Green Star Buildings

n

Experience coordinating architects, engineers and other consultants

n

Experience running design coordination meetings and managing consultant deliverables

n

Experience dealing with authorities such as Council, NBN, power, water and the RBS

n

Good understanding of the NCC, Australian Standards and the building permit process

n

Experience reviewing drawings for coordination, buildability and compliance

n

Construction phase experience, including responding to RFIs and resolving design issues on site

n

Robust communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills

n

Commercial awareness and an understanding of how design decisions affect cost and programme.

Education

n

Relevant tertiary qualifications well regarded
