Best Western Queen Victoria Market Hotel is a 4-level hotel with 42 rooms, located in the heart of West Melbourne. Just a 1-minute walk from Melbourne's iconic Queen Victoria Market, our hotel caters to both international and local travellers seeking comfort, convenience and warm hospitality.

We are currently seeking multiple enthusiastic and experienced Hotel Reception Staff to join our team.

About You:

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

Previous experience in ahotel reception role(essential)

n

Experience inhotel housekeeping(desirable)

n

Familiarity withMelbourne tourist attractions and public transport

n

A genuinelywarm, welcoming and professional demeanour

n

Availability to workmorning, evening and weekend shifts

n

Full working rights in Australia

n

You will also demonstrate:

Excellent communication, interpersonal and time-management skills

n

Strong attention to detail

n

High standards of personal presentation

Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and service, with a meticulous and reliable approach to work.

Demonstrates flexibility to support both Front Desk and Housekeeping functions as operational needs require.

Key Responsibilities:

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Providing effective, friendly and professional service to all guests

n

Warmly welcoming guests and ensuring a positive first impression

n

Organising, confirming and processing guest check-ins and check-outs

n

Responding to guest requests, enquiries and complaints promptly via face to face or online

n

Securing payments and verifying or adjusting guest billing as required

n

Checking room cleanliness and presentation prior to guest arrival

n

Dust, vacuum, and mop floors
