Non-Executive Director – Legal, Governance & Executive Leadership
n Location: Ipswich, Queensland
n Our client is a significant Queensland sporting and racing organisation responsible for the governance and strategic oversight of one of SE Queensland's newest and most prominent sporting precincts.
n An exciting opportunity exists for an experiencedNon-Executive Director to join the Board and help guide the organisation's strategic direction, strengthen governance practices and support its long-term success.
n We are seeking an accomplished governance professional with expertise inlegal compliance, corporate governance and executive leadership to provide independent oversight, contribute to strategic decision-making, oversee organisational performance, and support executive leadership through CEO oversight, succession planning and organisational culture.
n The ideal candidate will bring:

- Previous Board or senior executive leadership experience.
n
- Strong expertise in corporate governance, legal and regulatory compliance, and risk management.
n
- Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial and organisational performance.
n
- Experience within sporting organisations, member-based organisations, licensed clubs, regulated industries or similarly complex environments.
n
- A collaborative leadership style, sound judgement, and a commitment to integrity, accountability and best-practice governance.
