About the Role

n

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy school campus.

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- General building maintenance and handyman repairs
n
- Preventative maintenance and routine property inspections
n
- Basic carpentry, repairs and minor building works
n
- Setting up and packing down for school events and functions
n
- Coordinating contractors and monitoring works on site
n
- Identifying maintenance issues and implementing practical solutions
n
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented environment
n




- Building positive relationships with school staff, contractors and the Danihers team
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable and takes pride in delivering quality work.

n

You will have:

n

n
- Experience in building maintenance, facilities management or a similar maintenance role
n
- Trade qualifications (Carpentry or a related trade highly regarded)
n
- Excellent handyman skills and the ability to complete a wide range of maintenance tasks
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
n
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
n
- A current Working with Children Check
n
- A current National Police Check
n
- A current Australian Driver Licence
n
- Experience working within a school or education environment will be highly regarded.
n
