Contracted consistently on many Major Projects, Eastern Freeway, NELP, M80, SRL and Level crossing removal projects.

About the role

n

Candidates will have extensive experience on most if not all Major Projects including holding all required registrations, inductions and Tickets necessary. White Card, Damstra Card, RIW and EPA certifications and major project inductions and Plant hire (Lantrak, EPH, Fleet, etc) inductions as well.

n

Anything you don't currently hold you must be willing to complete and obtain prior to engagement.

n

As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for:

n

Protected and expert operation of Truck and Quad dogs and Trailers.

n

Accurate weights at all times utilising Truck scales, Calibration and weigh bridge

n





Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently

n

Perform daily vehicle inspections and prestart.

n

Adhere to all relevant road traffic laws, NHVR and CoR and Fatigue

n

Accurate daily uploading of activities, time sheets and Weigh bridge dockets

n

Maintaining Truck in optimal condition and report any issues or maintenance

n

Collaborating with project managers to meet deadlines and quality expectations.

n

Completing all necessary tasks and reporting on various Apps

n

Readily available for Face-to-Face driver Interviews

n

Multiple Online inductions must be completed immediately as required

n

Annual medical is required

n

Drug & Alcohol testing is mandatory by law and will be conducted randomly

n

What we're looking for

n

MUST HAVE DAMSTRA CARD and preferably Inducted on major projects SRL and M80, at minimum be willing to be inducted prior to working.

n

Strong Safety conscious driving, maneuvering in confined spaces, Loading and tipping and assessment of site-specific risks

n

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

n

Good communication and customer service orientation

n

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required

n

Must be highly proficient navigating Melbourne's traffic.

n

Experience and knowledge to maximise daily loads consistently with accurate weight and time management.

n

Honest and reliable Driver who respects our Trucks and all cost savings

n

Excellent knowledge and skills at working with all Major Project Apps

n

Mandatory safe driving, No speeding, No Phone, no over loading.

n

Preferred Drivers will already be an approved Driver with Major Plant hires and inducted on Major projects
