Reliance Community Services is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate NDIS Day Program Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with NDIS participants to deliver engaging daily activities that build independence, confidence, life skills and community participation. You'll play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment where participants can achieve their goals while having fun.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Coordinate and facilitate daily centre-based and community activities.
n
- Support participants to build independence, social skills and life skills.
n
- Plan weekly activity schedules and assist with meal planning.
n
- Facilitate cooking, arts and crafts, digital skills, fitness, gardening, games and community outings.
n
- Coordinate participant pick-up and drop-off schedules.
n
- Drive participants to community activities using company vehicles.
n
- Complete participant progress notes and required documentation.
n
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging environment.
n
- Follow NDIS Practice Standards, organisational policies and WHS requirements.
n
- Build positive relationships with participants, families and support coordinators.
n
n
About You
n
You are someone who enjoys working with people and creating positive experiences for others. You are organised,
proactive and able to adapt activities to meet individual participant needs.
n
n
- Experience supporting people with disability, mental health or in community services.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- A positive, energetic and caring attitude.
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Confidence facilitating group activities and community participation.
n
- Basic computer skills for completing participant documentation.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
n
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration.
n
- Current National Police Check.
n
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
n
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.
n
- Right to work in Australia.
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
n
