An established and highly regarded contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join its Brisbane team.

n

This is a strong opportunity for an Estimator with experience across bulk earthworks, demolition and complex civil works who wants to work on large, technically challenging projects across Queensland.

n

The Role Working closely with the estimating, commercial and operational teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a diverse pipeline of projects.

n

Your Responsibilities Will Include

n

n
- Preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions
n
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work
n
- Completing quantity take-offs and cost plans
n
- Pricing labour, plant, materials and subcontractor packages
n
- Managing supplier and subcontractor enquiries
n
- Identifying project risks, opportunities and value-engineering options
n
- Assisting with tender strategy and methodology
n
- Working closely with project and delivery teams during tender handover
n

What We Are Looking For Ideally,



you will have estimating experience within the Queensland market across some or all of the following:

n

n
- Bulk earthworks
n
- Demolition and deconstruction
n
- Major excavation works
n
- Basement excavation
n
- Basement retention and temporary works
n
- Reticulation and underground services
n
- Civil infrastructure
n
- Site remediation and enabling works
n

n

Previous experience working with a civil, demolition, earthworks or major projects contractor would be highly regarded.

n

You will need to be comfortable pricing technically complex projects and working across multiple tender opportunities at different stages.
