Diaco's Garden Nursery is opening a new location and are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and friendly team member.

This is an opportunity to work in a family-friendly environment where customer service and a genuine passion for plants are key. As a retail assistant, you will play an important role in help our customers with gardening and plant selection advice and helping create beautiful gardens

n

We will be offering a full time position with opening hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Sunday. If you love working with people and are dedicated to delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

n

Process Sales

n

n
- Scan items through the POS System
n
- Issue customers with a tax invoice or receipt when a sale is processed
n
- Arrange delivery dates and times
n
- Process returns and follow Diaco's policies and procedures




n

n

Process Orders

n

n
- Take customer orders (special orders, extra stock etc.)
n
- Collate customer in-store orders
n
- Prepare online orders for dispatch and pick-up
n

n

Phone Duties

n

n
- Answering, take enquiries and follow up until the query is resolved
n

n

Customer Service

n

n
- Serve and help customers attend to their queries and questions
n

n

Nursery Appearance

n

n
- Keep always check out area clean and functional
n
- Clean and tidy products and items
n
- Tiding up and cutting back of plants, re-bagging products, etc
n
- Any other ad hoc duties as specified by the Store Manager
n

n

Required Attributes and Qualifications:

n

n
- 5+ Years working in the nursery/horticulture Industry
n
- Experience in cashiering
n
- Ability to interact with customers
n

n

Knowledge of plants

n

n
- Fit, healthy, able to manage moderate to heavy lifting
n
