About the role

n

Reach to Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team in the Leeton. In this role, you will provide compassionate and individualised care for people with a wide range of disabilities, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. You will also support NDIS participants with daily living, community access, and achieving their personal goals.

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
n
- Providing social and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities, and fostering social connections
n
- Advocating for client needs and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
n
- Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed records in accordance with organisational policies
n




- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and quality standards to ensure the wellbeing of clients
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Experience in aged care, disability support, or a related field, with a demonstrated understanding of the unique needs of people with psychosocial and physical disabilities
n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide compassionate care
n
- Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the diverse needs and preferences of clients
n
- A caring, empathetic, and positive approach to working with vulnerable individuals
n
- A current First Aid certificate, NDISWC, WWCC, Drivers licence, relevant qualifications and/or a willingness to undertake any required training or certifications
n
