Print Production Operator/ Machine Operator

Are you a hands‐on operator with a sharp eye for detail? Globalcatalogue (part of the global Goldstar network) is looking for reliable Print Operators to join our energetic manufacturing facility in Hillsdale.

n

In this role, you will operate and set up light industrial machinery to personalize a wide range of promotional items—including writing instruments, drinkware, bags, and apparel.

n

WHAT YOU WILL DO

n

Machine Operation & Setup: Set up, adjust, and operate specialized print machinery (Pad Printing, Laser Engraving, UV Printing, Sublimation, and Screen Printing).

n

Production Output: Run equipment efficiently to safely meet daily shift throughput and production targets.

n

Work closely with the production team to meet daily output targets and deadlines

n

Troubleshoot minor technical issues and elevate major ones when necessary

n

Quality Control: Perform constant visual inspections and work with the Quality team to ensure color consistency, registration, and lack of defects.
n Review incoming digital files for accuracy, ensuring resolution, bleed, and color profiles meet production standards.

n

Material Handling & Setup:



Prepare job materials, verify work orders, and perform smooth product changeovers.

n

Conduct routine daily and weekly maintenance; troubleshoot minor mechanical or software issues to minimize downtime.

n

Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain an organized workspace while strictly adhering to WHS standards and reporting equipment performance issues.

n

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

n

Demonstrated experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, warehouse, or print production environment.

n

Practical mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic tool adjustments during product changeovers.

n

High attention to detail with strong visual quality-matching skills.

n

Excellent reliability, punctuality, and a proactive "can-do" work ethic.

n

Basic computer literacy for logging job documentation and tracking orders.

n
