Are you a trade-qualified Auto Trimmer with experience in heavy vehicle maintenance? Brisbane City Council is seeking a skilled qualified to join the Transport for Brisbane Division.

n

About the Role:

n

The Successful candidate will undertake the design, manufacture, repair, and installation of upholstery and interior components for the Transport for Brisbane bus fleet. This role is essential to ensuring a roadworthy, serviceable, and high-standard fleet is delivered to our depots and passengers.

- Start Time: 6am
n
- Finish Time: 2:06pm
n
- 5 day weeks Mon - Fri
n
- Location: Toowong
n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Construct, repair, and install auto trim components for a large-scale bus and vehicle fleet.
n
- Conduct seating maintenance and restoration, including material cutting, high-priority driver seat refurbishment, and responsive emergency repairs for both driver and passenger seats.
n
- Deliver high-quality work within estimated timeframes and quoted costs to ensure fleet uptime.
n
- Manage parts requisitions, job documentation, and industry-specific quoting systems.
n




- Interpret technical specifications to manufacture and assemble components to industry standards.
n

Key Requirements:

n

- Certificate III Automotive Vehicle Body Vehicle Trimming
n
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
n
- Strong commitment to teamwork and adherence to safety guidelines.
n
- 'C' Class Drivers Licence
n
