About the Role
n
We are seeking an organised and motivated HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team on a permanent part-time basis, working three days per week from our Head Office in Pemulwuy.
n
Reporting to the HR Coordinator and HR Principal Consultant, this role is primarily responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support across the Human Resources function. You will play an important role in ensuring HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently and on time, while also assisting with a variety of broader HR initiatives and projects as may be required.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Providing general administrative support to the HR team.
n
Maintaining employee records, personnel files and HR documentation.
n
Preparing employment documentation including new starters, employment changes and terminations (with assistance).
n
Supporting recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews, reference checks and pre-employment requirements.
n
Assisting with onboarding and induction administration.
n
Maintaining HR systems and ensuring employee information remains accurate.
n
Assisting employees with HR system enquiries.
n
Maintaining HR databases.
n
Assisting with workers' compensation administration and return to work documentation.
n
Assisting with HR projects, policy updates and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Providing general administrative assistance to support the wider HR function.
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
n
Previous administration experience, preferably within Human Resources.
n
A genuine interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
High attention to detail and accuracy.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
n
The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
n
The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team.
n
Qualifications (or currently studying) in Human Resources or a related discipline.
n
Exposure to HRIS (ConnX).
n
