About the role

n

We are seeking a motivated Construction Surveyor to join our team at Ellipse Surveying. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exact set-out and as-built surveys across a range of construction projects, including:

n

- Building feature set-out
n
- Precast wall set-out
n
- As-built or work as executed surveys
n
- Structural steel set-out
n
- Slab and footing set-out
n
- Detail surveys
n

Key Responsibilities:

n
- Set out structural and architectural features on active construction sites
n
- Prepare relevant drawings and data for set-out
n
- Undertake Quality Assurance (QA) checks and plan preparation following each set-out
n




- Prepare survey reports, maps, and documentation
n
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure project success
n
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards
n

Experience/skills:

n
- At least 5 + years of experience in construction surveying
n
- Strong proficiency in using surveying instruments and software (Leica experience preferred)
n
- Experience with AutoCAD preferred
n
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities

n
- Valid driver's licence
n
