Full Time Sous Chef

Looking for a Sous Chef role where you're paid for every hour you work?

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Full Time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at the award-recognised Cooroy Hotel, located in the heart of the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

n

Working alongside our experienced and accomplished Head Chef, you'll become part of a passionate, supportive team delivering quality food across our busy bistro and popular pizzeria.

About the Role

n

As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our kitchen, supporting the Head Chef while maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Assisting with the daily management of a busy kitchen
n
- Leading and motivating the team during service
n
- Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
n
- Assisting with menu development, stock control and kitchen organisation
n
- Supporting the Head Chef to deliver exceptional food and efficient service
n

n

About You

n

You will have:

n

n
- Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher)
n
- Experience supervising or leading in a busy commercial kitchen
n
- Strong leadership and communication skills
n
- A positive, hands-on attitude and passion for quality food
n
- Food Safety Supervisor accreditation (desirable)
n
- Full working rights in Australia
