Harwood Marine (Polaris Marine Dockyards) is a key division within our group, operating a 3,000T slipway and a 440T travel lift. We support a wide range of services, including vessel maintenance, refits, new builds and marine salvage & disposal.

About the Role

n

We are looking for an experienced Projects Manager for our busy shipyard in Harwood, NSW (near Yamba). This site-based role suits someone with a solid background in marine vessel dockings and maintenance, construction, or heavy industry project management and a commitment to safe, efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Collaborate with management on planning and resource allocation
n
- Ensure safe and timely project delivery, meeting compliance standards
n
- Monitor and report on project performance including revenue, margins, and costs
n
- Develop and maintain detailed project management plans
n
- Manage labour, subcontractors,



and materials to meet deadlines and budget targets
n
- Deliver accurate progress reports to internal and external stakeholders
n
- Prepare estimates/schedules and manage scope for docking and repair projects from quote through to completion
n
- Build robust working relationships across internal teams and with external clients
n

About You

n

n
- 3+ years' experience in project management or coordination (marine or construction industry preferred)
n
- Experience in shipbuilding, marine maintenance or heavy engineering (highly desirable)
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or related discipline (desirable)
n
- Strong understanding of subcontractor and supplier engagement processes
n
- Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
n
- Detail-oriented, professional and solutions-focused approach
n
