EXPERIENCED HEAVY HAULAGE TRUCK DRIVER (HC)

Marino Plant Hire is seeking an experienced Heavy Haulage Driver to join our growing team based in Cairns, Queensland. This full-time position involves transporting equipment and machinery to construction, civil and infrastructure projects throughout Far North Queensland.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Safely operate a range of heavy haulage vehicles, including low loaders and drop deck wideners.
n
- Transport a variety of heavy and oversized machinery to and from construction and civil project sites.
n
- Perform pre-start inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks.
n
- Ensure all loads are secured and transported in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
n
- Maintain accurate transport documentation and communicate effectively with customers and site personnel.

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy haulage transport.
n
- Current HC or MC Driver's Licence.
n
- Strong understanding of heavy vehicle operations, load restraint requirements and transport regulations.
n
- Experience transporting construction and earthmoving equipment.
n
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
n
