Barber Engineering are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Fitter and Turner to join their team in Horsham Vic. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

n

n
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and blueprints to determine suitable equipment and actions required.
n
- Fitting, assembling, and examining metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment accurately, also diagnosing and repairing faults.
n
- Placing controls on machining tools and textile machines.
n
- Forming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.

Skills and Abilities:

n

n
- Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification
n
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in this role or similar
n
- Ability to work in a team setting
n

n

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open on 13th July 2026 and closes on 13th August 2026
