This leading banking organisation is looking for someone to play a key role in shaping capital strategy, provisioning and credit risk analytics across a diverse lending portfolio.

n

This is a highly visible position where you'll work closely with senior leaders across Finance, Risk, Product and Technology, delivering commercial insights that influence strategic business decisions.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead the development and execution of capital strategy initiatives.
n
- Provide analysis and insight into capital performance, provisioning and portfolio trends.
n
- Deliver strategic recommendations to support commercial and regulatory decision-making.
n
- Partner with Finance, Risk, Product and Technology stakeholders across the business.
n




- Analyse large and complex data sets to identify risks and opportunities.
n
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
n
- Mentor, coach and develop a high-performing team.
n
- Drive continuous improvement across capital management and analytical processes.
n

n

To be successful, you'll ideally have

n

n
- Deep experience in Capital Management, Capital Strategy, Credit Risk, Provisioning or a similar analytical function within banking or financial services.
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, Economics, Mathematics, Business or a related discipline.
n
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful business insights.
n
- Experience using SQL, R or similar data analysis tools (highly regarded).
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
- Previous leadership or people management experience.
n
- Strong commercial judgement with exceptional attention to detail.
