We are looking for an experienced Casual Gaming Supervisor to join the PLG team at The Cove in Patterson Lakes. You'll play a pivotal role in overseeing gaming operations, ensuring all regulatory compliance requirements are met, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.

The Cove Hotel is a premier dining and entertainment venue offering one of the most spectacular water views right on the marina in Patterson Lakes.

The bistro offers contemporary casual dining in a relaxed setting; catering to both the traditional indoor style seating, by the fireplace and an enclosed deck area capturing the view of the marina.

What will my duties include?
n
n
- Ensure the gaming room is always of a high standard in terms of cleanliness, customer service, lighting and ambiance.
n
- Oversee daily gaming operations, including game management and equipment functionality.
n
- Ensure that all policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements are always being met.
n
- Supervise and support gaming staff and provide training and guidance to maintain high performance standards.
n
- Assisting when required with the management team in the further development of the gaming room.
n
n
The role you are applying for may be quite rapid-paced and require you to complete tasks including but not limited to lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs.
n
What We Are Looking For
n
n
- Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA).
n
- Current Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (RSG).
n
- Current Victorian Gaming Employee Licence.
n
- Food Handlers Certificate
n
- TAB Compliance
n
- Previous experience in a similar role.
n
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage staff effectively.
n
- Strong interpersonal skills
n
- Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
n
