1915 Restaurant in Geelong is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to assist with running successful our restaurant and bar in Geelong. The venue is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, and hosts a range of functions from corporate events, to birthday parties and weddings. 1915 is part of Hamo Hospitality, an exciting hospitality company with 5 venues in Geelong featuring; Mexicam's, Woolstore, The Retreat and Paddock Bakery

Key accountabilities

n

n
- Supervise, motivate and inspire team to consistently deliver exceptionalcustomer experience
n
- Regular reconciliations of Petty Cash, floats and daily cash takings to effectively manage cash flow
n
- Delegation of tasks within the management team
n
- Wage control and rostering management
n
- Assist with the food and operational cost control and monitoring
n
- Ensure food handling and food safety practices are met
n
- Manage team training and development.
n
- Ensure clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
n
- Grow a positive Safety Culture and ensure that our people remain safe at work
n
- Management of POS system Impos
n
- Ensuring the maintenance of all restaurantequipment
n
- Regular communication and reporting to investors
n
- Interact with distributors, media, and hospitality organisations to promote the business
n




- Ensuring functions are appropriately prepared for and run smoothly, working with the Events Manager
n
- Ensuring premisesis consistently kept clean and presented perfectly
n
- Managing and maintaining company policies and procedures
n
- Constant analysis of the restaurant's strengths and weaknesses, making appropriatechanges for continued growth, sales and profitability
n

- Managerial Courage

- Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role
n
- Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.
