About the Role

We're seeking a talented and driven Design Manager to join a dynamic workplace design studio in Melbourne. This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll be involved across the full project lifecycle—from client engagement and concept design through to documentation and delivery—while leading a small, high‐performing team.

n

You'll play a key role in shaping innovative workplace environments, managing multiple projects, and ensuring design excellence across all stages. You will play a key part in concept and design for the projects.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead client interactions including briefings, presentations, and relationship management
n
- Drive concept design, space planning, and layout development for workplace projects
n
- Oversee and contribute to Revit documentation and detailing
n
- Produce or direct high‐quality 3D renders and visualisations
n
- Manage and mentor a team
n




- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously (ranging from 500–5,000 sqm)
n
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high design standard
n
- Remain hands‐on ("on the tools") while leading the team and managing workflow
n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience in workplace / office interiors design
n
- Strong Revit proficiency (essential)
n
- Background in Design & Construct (D&C;) highly regarded
n
- Confident client‐facing skills with strong presentation ability
n
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a team
n
- Strong creative flair with a sharp eye for design and detail
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‐paced environment
n
