About the Role

n

Working alongside experienced Technicians, the main focus of the Pre-Delivery Accessory Fitter will be to perform a range of accessory fitments and pre-delivery inspections to new Toyota and Lexus Vehicles. Duties are carried out in accordance with servicing and warranty guidelines, and company procedures.

Responsibilities, tasks & duties include:

n

- Fitment of vehicle accessories and perform pre-delivery inspections.
n
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of all new vehicle features and changes relating to the product range.
n
- Report all work performed and record on repair order.
n
- Maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment, and adhere to WH&S; guidelines.
n
- Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the delivery of vehicles to customers.
n
- Providing a high level of customer service.
n
- Ensuring that all work areas are kept clean and organised.
n
- Assist with vehicle key collection and lockup, securing building at day end.
n

Skills and experience

n

n




- Mechanical aptitude and some mechanical background preferred however, training provided for the right candidate
n
- Experience and qualifications as an Automotive accessory fitter desired.
n
- Understanding of and ability to follow technical diagrams and fitment instructions
n
- Ability to work productively as part of a team and unsupervised
n
- Effective time management skills and attention to detail
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback
n
- Current valid Queensland Manual drivers licence
n
