About the Role

n

We are recruiting a dependable, hands-on Leading Hand - Storeperson to support and guide the afternoon shift at our busy Cairns Steel Centre. This is a key team leadership opportunity focused on ensuring the safe and efficient picking, loading, and dispatch of steel orders, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Core Duties :

- Support and guide the afternoon shift team.
n
- Ensure the secure and accurate picking and loading of orders.
n
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
n
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet daily targets.
n

n

Key Requirements :

n

n
- Experience in a warehouse,



logistics, or manufacturing environment.
n
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to lead by example.
n
- A valid C Class driver's licence.
n
- A current forklift licence (preferred).
n
