At Hoopla Kitchen & Bar, we are building a destination for families, food lovers, and people looking for a fun, energetic experience.

With the exciting launch of our brand-new Hoopla Pakenham Kitchen & Bar venue, we are searching for a passionate, and hands-on Assistant Managerto help lead our venue from day one.

n

This is a genuine leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments, understands modern café/restaurant operations, and takes pride in building strong team culture, systems, consistency, and quality.

n

We need the right candidate to assist our venue managers to execute service at a high standard while building and helping to lead an exceptional front of house team.

n

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality, loves developing teams, and leads from the front to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

THE ROLE

n

As Assistant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, including:

n

Confidence in leading, training and developing staff

n

Running efficient, high-quality service periods

n





Overseeing stock control and venue operations

n

Maintaining food safety, OHS and compliance standards

n

Delivering exceptional guest experiences

n

Working closely with senior management to drive performance and culture

n

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll be expected to lead from the floor, set standards and build a strong team culture.

n

Weekends and public holidays are essential.

n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

n

Previous experience in hospitality or entertainment venues

n

Strong leadership and communication skills

n

Passion for training and developing staff

n

Some experience with rostering, labor management and basic financials

n

Calm under pressure and highly organised

n

Energetic, reliable and professional

n

A strong focus on customer experience and team culture

n
