As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join our team. About the Role

n

Reporting directly to the Construction manager, you'll take ownership of the estimating process from opportunity identification through to successful project handover.

n

Working closely with our project delivery team, you'll prepare competitive, accurate tenders while developing strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

n

You'll be responsible for:

n

- Leading the preparation of civil construction tenders and estimates from start to finish.
n
- Reviewing drawings,



specifications and contract documentation.
n
- Performing quantity take-offs using industry estimating software.
n
- Attending site inspections and tender briefings.
n
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations.
n
- Preparing methodologies, construction programs and tender submissions.
n
- Identifying project risks and opportunities.
n
- Reviewing contracts and scope documentation.
n
- Liaising directly with clients throughout the tender process.
n
- Preparing project budgets and handover documentation for awarded projects.
n
- Supporting project teams with variation pricing and commercial advice.
n
- Contributing to business development and identifying future tender opportunities.
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who enjoys winning work and takes pride in producing quality submissions.

n

You'll bring:

n

n
- 3+ years' experience estimating civil construction projects.
n
- Proven success delivering profitable and competitive tenders.
n
- Strong knowledge of bulk earthworks, roadworks, concrete, drainage and civil infrastructure.
n
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
n
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
n
- High attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
