Position:

We are seeking a highly professional, motivated, and enthusiastic individual with relevant qualifications to come and join our team as a Full time Motor Mechanic.

Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Maintain, test, and repair motors and mechanical components of trucks, buses, and other heavy vehicles
n
- Detect and diagnose defects in engines and parts
n
- Disassemble and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for inspection
n
- Repair and replace worn or defective parts, following service manuals as necessary
n




- Perform scheduled maintenance services like oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to ensure smooth vehicle operation and compliance with pollution regulations
n
- Reassembling of engines and parts after repairs
n
- Test and adjust mechanical parts post-repair to guarantee proper performance
n
- Utilize computer assistance for diagnosing and testing parts
n
- May conduct vehicle inspections and issue roadworthiness certificates or recommend necessary work for roadworthiness
n
- May provide assistance in response to vehicle breakdown incidents.

Qualification

n

n
- AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
n
- At least one year of on-the-job training
n

n

Remuneration

n

Successful candidate will be paid the salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation.
