About the role
n
Exciting new roles for a CSSD technicians have become available at our Calvary Adelaide site. As a CSSD Technician you will ensure reliably sterilised medical devices are available for use in all relevant areas where reusable medical devices are utilised. We are a close team who enjoy great team comraderies. In this role, you will require to:
n
n
- Practice in accordance with Infection Control principles, AS5369 and other relevant standards
n
- Participate in personal career development
n
- Complete annual requirements of HICMR Education Program
n
- Complete all annual competencies relevant to area of practice
n
- Participate effectively in department Quality Management Program
n
- Effectively manage own time, prioritising tasks as required to meet workload demands
n
- Effectively and efficiently utilise material resources
n
n
What you bring
n
n
- Minimum Certificate 3 in sterilisation
n
- Previous experience in a CSSD is desirable
n
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
n
- Minimum of 12 months experience working in a CSSD/Reprocessing Room
n
- Effectively manage own time,
prioritising tasks as required to meet workload demands
n
- Practices in accordance with Infection Control principles, AS4187 and other relevant standards
n
n
